"BLACK COVE & COLD LACE"
Ready-Made's Black Cove & Cold Lace capsule is inspired by the designer's motivation to break out of the common use of traditional lace on design pieces - by creating her own graphic lace prints. The graphic prints for this season are themed around the intensive use of flowers and soft shapes, coupled with design pieces which outline silhouettes that are relaxed and squared.
The Black Cove & Cold Lace capsule infuses a color play of stylish black with shimmering tanned beige, reflecting an overall modern romantic and delicate look, while its unique prints gives a twist to its romancing style.
LABEL CONCEPT
Ready.Made is a female casual wear label inspired by everyday life's simplicity of art and aesthetics, with heavy usage of montages and sketches in its designs.
Inspired by home‐style, old-school meeting the modern world, it portrays a vintage‐twist of contemporary elements.
Ready.Made reaches out to the fun yet quirky, believing ardently that everyday wear can simply and readily, share one’s portrayal of their own style of fashion.
DESIGNER PROFILE
Sabrina Gunawan started Ready.Made and is currently the main designer for the brand. She graduated from LASELLE SIA (College of the Arts) in 2005, majoring in Fashion Design. In 2006, she was selected as one of the 8 finalists of Singapore Fashion Young Designer Contest and was given an opportunity to showcase 12 of her outfits in Raffles City. After graduation, she worked for 5 years in the industry under local designer brands.
She loves photography, traveling, sketching and collect experiences along the way in life......
