LABEL CONCEPT
PAULINE.NING is a designer label that produces urban ready-to-wear feminine designer clothing with a touch of edginess, bringing together contemporary fashion and traditional handcrafted work. Naturally drawn to organic shapes and elements, gathering together contradictions, the work reflects opposites — raw and refined, structured and soft.
An ensemble of different fabrics (material, texture and colour) in one garment, together with minimal touches of handcrafted detailing, each piece is an elaborate and statement on its own.
DESIGNER PROFILE
Having graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma and LASALLE College of the Arts with a Bachelor Degree, the designer behind this eponymous label put to use her technical and creative skills built up over the years. Having bagged the second runner-up ar PARCO next NEXT's fashion desginer contest 2009 and the Winner of Nation Pride 2010, PAULINE.NING had her collection showcased in Blueprint Singapore 2010 and FantAsia, an exhibition of contemporary fashion showcasing the works of 50 extraordinary fashion designers from Singapore and South Korea in August 2010.
