LABEL CONCEPT
ffayth is the inner imaginings of designer Fayth, made real. The inspiration behind ffayth is simple: happiness. ffayth is for people who often feel trapped in their busy working worlds, and seeking the joy they long to have. With the belief that this joy can come from the simplest things in life, the label works primarily with natural linen and cotton, which are treated with colours, embroideries, silkscreen prints, and crafted into clean and classic silhouettes. By experimenting with a mix of materials, layered to achieve balanced contrasts, the result is a collection that is unique, elegant and certain to bring a smile to the face, proof of the label's philosophy.
DESIGNERS PROFILE
Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Fayth and Maxi grew up in Singapore. The sister and brother team are now business partners. Fayth originally studied IT and worked as an analyst programmer.
By chance, she took up a sewing class, which set her on the path to becoming a fashion designer. After graduating in 2009 with an Honors Degree from Huddersfield University, UK, she interned for Hansel, a successful local desginer label. With her experience, she then decided to launch her own fashion label.
Currently studying for his Business Diploma, Maxi is putting his entrepreneurial spirit into practice.
