"Sticks & Stones"
As the saying goes, “Sticks & Stones may break my bones, but words will never break me”.
A woman, who may be weak physically, but emotionally unbreakable, inspires this collection. She stands strong with her believes and fights for what she stands for. She has that understated charm that draws people to her.
Introducing more angular panels within the designs, Sticks & Stones aims to bring an edgier look to sophistication. Still being consistent with the soft drapery of modal jersey, we create a fine balance of sophistication and attitude.
Shot in a beautiful quarry in Bali, we wanted to achieve a raw and textured visual, creating a strong presence and infusing it with serenity.
LABEL CONCEPT
eve is a label that transcends a designer's intricate thoughts into physical reality. In a world so susceptible to change and influences, eve believes in authenticity. Where one is true to one's own personality and spirit, not shaken by trends, not afraid of what the future holds.
For when the heart is true, and the mind is clear, one stands strong amidst chaos and negativity. eve creates with love, confidence and understanding. Beautiful drapery, mixing and matching of colours, and soft silhouettes introduce an elusive balance to bring out the wearer's unique personality.
DESIGNER PROFILE
Eve graduated from Raffles Design Institute with a degree in Fashion Design. She was a finalist in the Triumph Inspirational Awards in 2009. She also represented Singapore in the Aquafina Fashion show in Vietnam and was awarded Best Collection in 2009.
A free spirited designer with endless optimism, Eve strives towards creation. She believes in the good in people and aims to translate her thoughts into physical reality. A quirky character with a passion for life, she enjoys absorbing what the world has to offer and from the different characters that she meets from all over the world.
